Just A Flash In The Pan - And A Limit Is History!
Phil Karrasow knew ahead of time that there is always a degree of uncertainty whether an angler will end up being one of the lucky ones to bag a bragging size Kenai River king salmon. So right from the start he was prepared to exhibit patience in his quest on the river during his early July outing. But somedays things just don't go as planned....and 15 minutes after dropping his line in the water that morning, he was posing in the boat with a bright 57 pounder. Then after another five hours of boat ride with his fellow anglers (and a proud grin on his face) he got the chance to snap this photo back at the dock. Sometimes its nice to run up the score at the beginning and then coast, eh?
