If a reader didn't know better, they would think this shot was taken somewhere in Alaska and most likely on the Kenai River. But this 52 pound Fall king salmon was taken from the Chetco River in Oregon. Although brutes this size aren't as common as when fishing the Kenai, there are fish this size each season making their way upstream and an angler never knows when that next takedown will be a trophy such as this. |
