The Smith River is a beautiful stream in a very exceptional setting. As a short coastal salmon and steelhead river near the border of northern California, it provides some of the most famous fall, winter and spring fishing in the area. This 22 pound Steelhead was taken last winter ('98-99) and is surely a trophy which any steelheader would be proud of for a lifetime. |
