The Kenai River had a very good king salmon season in 1999, as did our clients. Both early and late runs provided some exceptional fishing this year with stronger than expected numbers and the weather even cooperated with a somewhat cool but relatively dry summer. Hefty catches of bright fish were the norm this year and there was a very good overlap of early and late run fish providing good fishing no matter when we went out. |
